Zombie with a Shotgun, is not just a horror web-series with a great title, It’s an atmospheric horror web-series with a great title.

Zombie with a Shotgun follows one couple’s struggle to survive during a zombie apocalypse. And Aaron, the boyfriend, has been infected. He soldiers on trying to keep his girlfriend alive while his body fights to keep the infection at bay.

Until last month there were only 4 episodes available to watch over on their Vimeo channel. But now they are releasing their newest batch of episodes. Episode 5 already has me wanting to watch more because the series is now getting deeper into the story, and I like where they’re headed.                                                                                                                                                    This indie project made some great choices with their production. The decrepit  locations made for some great sets. Although I know how unpleasant filming in properly defunct buildings is, so immediate props to them for surviving that.  I also like some of the choices they make in how the zombies behave, but I won’t spoil it for you, so that’s all I’ll say. My favorite element of  this series by far is their brazen use of color in their lighting.  (Because I’m a nerd for 80’s era lighting design). And they use it to their benefit.
