This Saturday is Free Comic Book day!!

Now, what is this magical occurrence of free comic books I speak of? Why it is the one day a year where all of the publishing companies and comicbook stores work together and give away free copies of comics created speficially to give away on the first Saturday in May. This is a tradition that has been happening since 2002 and it’s still going strong. You can walk into any comicbook shop this Saturday, ask the shopkeep for the free comics and leave with an arm-full of graphic novel awesomeness to mark the occasion. And what you should do with your new collection is come visit me at the Free Comic Book Day After Party being hosted by yours truely, Haunting TV, Trick or Treat Radio Podcast and DynoMyra at the Luckdog Music Hall in Worcester MA. I can’t freaking wait for this concert!! I’ve got my dress, striped tights, and black wig all set aside for my American McGee’s Alice cosplay. I just need to decide if I’m going to splatter my costume and arms with fake blood or not.. What do you think? Fake blood, cream based red make-up, or elbow length red gloves?
