2 Sentence Story Tuesday / Horror Haikuesday / Poetry

Horror Haikuesday: The Doll

Artwork by meh, haiku by Patrick Rahall:

HorrorMadeDoll

The Doll

The doll by the wall,

It watches me and sees all.

I scream when it calls.

One question interview with Patrick:

JA: If your writing style were a character in a murder mystery, which character would it be and why?

PR: If my writing style was a character in a murder mystery it would be a shady mother—-er that would be suspected of the killing, but no one would be able to prove it and there would be at least one person who believed that, as terrible a person as that character may be, they didn’t do it.

But they’re still despicable.  It would not be unthinkable that my character did it and arranged it to simultaneously cast doubt on them and incriminate them.

  1. OMg sorry about the first comment. I forgot to delete the first sentence.

    Even if you stood
    Motionless in the corner
    I can still see you

    A smirk on your face
Your body fades in the dark
    Eyes flickering red

    You’re staring, waiting
For the time I’ll become weak
    My soul you will steal

    🙂
