Hello my lovelies.

I almost ended up skipping the post for today entirely, but I managed to get some Gatorade and bread in my (I’ve been fight some dreadful stomach bug this week) and while I’m at the computer I wanted to share a few random exhaust-o-brain thoughts with you.

Fever Dreams

feverdreamsOne that always come to mind when I hear the phrase “fever dream” is when I was home sick in middle school.

I was lying on the couch and I had a bottle cap in my hand. While looking at the cap, everything around me seemed to shrink while my hand and the cap grew and grew. I threw the cap on the floor and closed my eyes. I don’t remember that helping much, but the dizzy feeling was better than wanting to scream because the world was turning inside out.

Have you ever had illness-caused nightmares? What were they like?

This time around my dreams have been pretty tame- mostly because I haven’t been able to sleep more than half an hour at a time…

But I have been binge watching American Horror Story. Coven was amazing. I will rewatch the season the next time I need to watch a show for 14 hours straight. Freakshow I’m enjoying a little less.

tumblr_muik5kUx991qcbk34o1_r1_500The Story lines in Coven were so engrossing, where-as Freakshow feels like it’s taking a little longer to hit it’s stride.

That being said I just watch the Halloween episodes and now I’m on board. Apparently it’s the ghosts/magic/voodoo/etc that gets me all excited.

What was the last show you binge-watched your way through?

Anywhoo… I’m back off to try and get some sleep. There’s a full weekend of family, food, and all that Thanksgiving goodness to get through.

  1. I hope you feel better soon …. as in TODAY!

I think the last show I binge-watched was Firefly, though responsibilities and obligations did not allow it in one sitting, so maybe that doesn’t count. 🙂

    1. It totally counts 🙂 I love Firefly. I’ve watched through it several times.

And actually, I am, miraculously, doing quite a bit better today. Thank goodness! I’ll still have to take it easy on food, but at least I get to spend some time with the family.

      Happy thanksgiving to you!
