Hello readers.

Mistress Andromeda asked me to do one extra blog post this week and I am answering that delightfully devilish call to action with 13 shiny new photos I took this past weekend just for you lovely boils and ghouls.

I did not use any additional artificial light other than what was already in the rooms I photographed. I also did not do any color correction.

I try and do as much as I can in camera. It feels more pure that way. I am sorry I did not make notes for the ISO and color temperatures I used. I will make every effort to do so next time. I am not a technical photographer. I shoot by feel the same way I cook. If something speaks to me I shoot it.

I try and find subjects with an other-worldly feel. The location I choose is an amazing antique shop called Never Say Goodbye. It’s located in Middletown, Connecticut and in my opinion it’s the coolest shop in the state. They are closing some time later this year so if you love a good antique shop with a real beating soul then you need to come and see this place for yourself while it’s still around. I did all of my photos on this property including the outdoor shots.
