Good morning my friend, and welcome to another delightfully dark day of horror and haiku. I’m gearing up for next’s month’s featured poet/artwork so today’s post only has 2 original creations, but there were some terribly clever posts last week that played off of their images so well that I wanted to share those too.
Terribly clever 🙂 Like this one by David Tully, which gave me a big ol’ laugh:
Fun for all ages!
Fun for all eternity!
The fun never ends!#horrorhaikuesday pic.twitter.com/QbzK9mFRSH— David Tully, P.I. (@CynicalEyebrow) June 21, 2016
Here’s the first art and poetry paring of the day:
Behind my closed eyes
Mad dimensions twist and shriek.
My smile hides it all.#HorrorHaikuesday— Ax Lizzie (@AxLizzie) June 21, 2016
That doll still freaks me out. Actually dolls in general do…
Ginger hair. Freckles.
A killer with a catchphrase:
“Your friend ’til the end.”#HorrorHaikuesday #AmWriting pic.twitter.com/49d6mGqZFw— Noble Gaming (@TheNobleGaming) June 21, 2016
And last but not least;
Mist in the graveyard
following footsteps beyond
shadows—not human #HorrorHaikuesday— A. F. Stewart (@scribe77) June 21, 2016
Thank you all for joing me and if you’d like to have a chance to be featured here next week use #horrorhaikuesday with your poem on Twitter or Instagram.
