Hello my friends! And welcome to the 1st Horror Haikuesday of 2017! As I hinted at previously, we have a lot of reasons to celebrate. The month of spooky is upon us and on Twitter, we’ve passed 4,000 followers! So, hang in there until the end of the post to hear how the giveaways and celebrations will work this year. 🙂

To Inspire You:

I’m participating in Inktober this year!  And possibly Drawlloween- though Drawllowen will be added on days where I have a little more time… So you will be seeing lots and lots of weird inky artwork from me this month. Today’s artwork, “Divided”, was from yesterday’s drawing prompt.

Originally, I had another piece selected for today. But after finishing this one… I thought you’d have more fun with it. I also wanted to mention, that this piece was inspired by the work of the artist Shintaro Kago. His art is bizarre, disturbing, and beautiful. So you should 100% go check out his work when you have a chance.

We all have monsters
in our heads. We just cannot
allow them to leave.

Created by You:

Last week’s artwork, Carried Away, seemed to bring a lot of you into the spirit of fall right with me. Thank you for joining me on this ride!

Want to Join in?

To join the Drawlloween and Inktober, here’s the information you need:

To join in on #horrorhaikuesday use the hashtag on twitter, compose a horror-themed haiku, and share away. Feel free to use my artwork in your posts. 🙂

LOL, ok, ok. At the end of the month I will be giving away 3 prize packs. They will be 3 pieces of artwork from this month’s Inktober art challenge along with a Horror Made care package. I will be revealing the elements of said care package as the weeks roll on. I will be giving away a 1 prize pack based on any of my 3 social media locations. Here are the options:

  1. Follow me on Twitter and tweet at me using #HorrorMade2017.
  2. Follow me on Facebook and leave a comment using #HorrorMade2017.
  3. Follow me on Instagram and comment on one of my posts, again… with #HorrorMade2017.

At the end of the month I will give each comment with the hashtag a number and then use a random number generator to pick the winners. The more you comment, the more chances you’ll get to win. Can do one, or all, it’s up to you.

Ok. That’s all from me today folks. Happy haunting! ❤
