About The Book
Ivy Hawthorne, a girl largely shunned by her parents, classmates, and seemingly the rest of the world, starts to notice some strange things happening in her life. Animals have started intently watching her and her dreams are coming true.
It’s when her dreams start to fixate on a handsome new arrival at school and his spilling blood that everything starts to change. An underworld of Faerie comes to the surface and they are coming for Ivy.
“The Thorn Princess” has everything I love about urban fantasy and then some. #BewitchingBookTourTweet
This book has everything I could ask for of an urban fantasy novel. A likeable and ferociously strong leading female. A budding romance. Dangerous and surprising faeries. Unbridled instances of magic. And all of it is leading to a world and a plot that is much bigger than just one girl, where she is the key to unlocking it’s secrets.
It’s a fantastic adventure starting with it’s roots in reality that takes you on a wild ride. I ripped through this book so fast- I could hardly put it down!
The only bad thing about, “The Thorn Princess,” is that it ended.
I don’t mean to be cheeky. I genuinely mean it, but in a good way. Just as the 1st part of the story was wrapping up, a new conflict was introduced and it’s even more enticing than how the 1st book started. It was the perfect balance of wrapping up the story and leaving you with a cliff hanger. I can’t wait to read and review the rest of the series as Bekah Harris completes them.
There’s no doubt in my mind, this is a 5 out of 5 star read. If you enjoy the work of JK Rowling and Holly Black, you will love “The Thorn Princess.” #fantasy #urbanFantasyTweet
