Thedeathandromedare’s not really a simple way to explain myself, but I’ll take a crack at it.

I am an artist, first and foremost. I express myself through many different mediums, but at the heart of it, I’m obsessed with a good story. So I am constantly celebrating the forms of story-telling, and exploring new ways to share the tales I have rattling around in my head.

My creative life began in books. My childhood could be pretty well reflected by a series ofshelves with stacks of books weighing them down. Ever since I figured out how to read I’ve been obsessed with exploring the fantastic and bizarre. I love horror, sci-fi and fantasy and this obsession wpid-20150416_173435.jpghas driven me to find ways to create new worlds and stories of my own. There was a time when sketchbooks and notebooks were my medium, but that grew into becoming a costume and set designer for theater, which mutated into becoming a production designer for feature films. Now my focus for communication has shifted a little to the left. My partner and I have started a YouTube Channel called “Haunting TV“, where we explore all things horror. We post videos of our own creation as well as let’s plays, and reviews for films, books, and comics. When I’m not on camera for our channel I’m blogging. I write on about horror and on about my adventures in the world of art and design.

I’m not sure where my current adventures are taking me exactly, but I do know one thing, I’m still going to be hunting down and creating new stories.

  1. Hi Jeanette. Thanks for dropping by my blog, ‘Writing in Starlight.’ Crom, what a wealth of creativity you have! I particularly loved the photography you displayed with the pen knibs and the scarlet ink. I can’t wait to start exploring your YouTube channel and Deviantart profile. Keep up the good work.
